To confusing if you leave time between reading the second book and the third so I will reread the whole series to really determine if i like it.
Enjoyable story leaves you wishing for more.
The whole series improves as it goes along with more depth in the writing and character development.
There were way to many point of views in this novel. The constant switching around and large cast of characters made it hard to enjoy the book.
The story came across as one big set of magical one upsmanship. After the intro part of the book pretty much each chapter has some form of new and previously unknown magic popping up. It feels rushed, like the author just wanted to get the book/series over with.
